Stencoose Barns, Truro, Cornwall
Stencoose Farm is a historic Cornish farmstead occupied and regularly adapted since the medieval period. First recorded in 1302, This unique group of historic buildings form a coherent farmstead illustrating the combined influences of agriculture and industry on our rural built heritage bringing industrial architectural influences including brick window and door arches and large-span barn roofs supported by iron girders and columns.
Our vision for Stencoose is the creation of 6 new homes from conversion of existing farm buildings. A collection of dwellings with shared aesthetics whilst being individually bespoke buildings.
The range of beautiful traditional stone barns and farmhouse are situated in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of the city of Truro. A stones throw from Truro golf course, Treliske hospital, river Kenwyn and Truro preparatory school. Phase 1 due for release in summer 2027
